It is difficult for an ordinary Citizen to leave his daily chorus & devote time for a greater cause. Life in India Is tough & one has to slog for making his or her livelihood. In this scenario kudos to those who were able to manage time for participating in this greater & noble cause. A thought comes to my mind how much out of these crowd will adapt an honest & truthful approach to there own life. It is little easier to put finger on others but much difficult to put finger on ourselves. Whether it is politician , babus or civil servant , they all are part of our own society. Can we say honestly if any member of our family becomes a member of parliament , we would not take the advantage of the situation. If any member of our family joins police force the very moment we would start behaving with more arrogance. Who kills the girl child immediately after birth in this country , the politician only or any normal Indian citizen. Killing girl child , is it not a type of corrupt mind . why one kills a girl child , because a boy will take care of me in my older days, because he will bring dowry in the family when he will be married , because he will carry the family name after we become a mortal soul. Is this not a type of crude corruption. Who takes dowry , only politicians, The answer you know already. If any of us faces a situation when our boss in the office comes & say that your promotion is confirmed but you have to harass your colleague who is anti boss due to his corrupt ways of handling the department. I bet it won't take more than a minute before i or you start abusing the honest colleague.
We all are so full of evils in our minds & attitude that the whole society has become corrupt but we choose to throw stones on others. People like Anna Hazare becomes so popular due to the fact because we do not have the courage to cleanse our own corrupt mind but we like to change the society with the help of a person who did it effectively in his own life.
I bet nothing will change even if Anna Hazare brings success by bringing Lokpal bill. A society or civilization can not change by simply bringing a Law. IT changes when major part of the society feels for a change within themselves to enable them to create a better world. Once you make a change within your own corrupt mind that day you or we will not require any Anna hazare to do all the hard work. Truth & integrity makes you strong so strong that even government of the largest nation looks pygmy in front of you. Anna has shown us the power of truth . Most of us succumbs to evil ways for two reasons , one our own lust for power & fame , the second due to fear of loosing job if we protest against our corrupt superiors. you have the answer for the second part in Anna Hazare. If you follow the path of truth , you become so stronger that one day everybody will bow to you. As for the first part i would say , Power & fame is temporary phenomenon & it never lasts for forever. When it goes the life for those who are addicted to it becomes a bed of thorns.
Let us pledge today that first we should clean our own corrupt mind if we want to see our country as a peaceful care for for all society.

Anti corruption movement

The current agitation against corruption spearheaded by Sri Anna Hazare & his team has proved one old proverb that a ant can disturb an elephant if it wishes so. This type of situation arises when those who are on the ruling side shows complete antipathy towards the ruled class. In this situation two type of anti ruler movements happened, one peaceful & the other violent one. The violent movement never succeed permanently but the peaceful one always has the capacity to bring down corrupt ruling class. our government is standing on a very thin ground. They in themselves become a community irrespective of there party alignment who enjoys luxury, power , money at the cost of people. they can do anything & get away with it due to there hidden collective cooperativeness in enjoying the fruit of power , money & fame. If a ordinary Indian citizen fails to pay correctly his or her income tax , they are liable to be imprisonment but our politicians & government official can earn much more than what there actual legal earning is , nobody can do anything. See the current state of our provinces like UP , Bihar , Bengal , Orissaa etc. The living condition of a normal human being is pathetic. No electricity, worst road condition, polluted water, worst law & order situation . Just compare the status of our politician in these states & you will understand why the citizen of India is agitated to the extreme.
The politician calls Anna hazare movement attack on parliament, some intellectuals also has similar view. Whose parliament it is, is it our parliament, i do not think so & why we should go on sticking to older tradition. Do we select directly the Prime Minister , answer is no, the party selects it. If a minister is corrupt then do the citizen of India has to wait for five years to remove him. In this fast changing world we have to wait for five years to remove a corrupt parliament member.
Now the time has come we should be very alert to our right. I feel we must change the system from party to individual. The Indian people should be appointing directly the prime minister , the home minister , the defense minister & the finance minister. The citizen of India should elect directly the candidate for these powerful positions. There should be provision of referendum after every single year to judge the performance of these ministers. If the performance is found below sixty percent then the citizen of India should have power to remove him. The multy party system has proven to be failure. it propagates horse trading.
The concept of state assembly is absolutely against the law of republic one & united India. Every small zone wants to be a new state, the politicians vested interest lies in this. New state means new assembly, More money for them to spend on there own welfare. Just take the example what has happened to jharkhand . who has been benefited after its emergence as a new state. Why would people of India spent twice on elections , one for MP & then for MLA's. Why can not the MP only takes the responsibility of running his or her constituency. There are bureaucrats also as a second line of administration. Why there are separate taxes & regulations across various states. You have one rule one taxation culture if India is one.
The politicians has only there welfare in there mind that's why they will never bring any radical changes which will take out India from the shackles of poverty, apathy & ignorance. It is we the people of India who has to rise & bring the radical changes in Law which is by the people , for the people.

Truth

When you have hopes,
You will have dreams
When you have dreams,
You will have conviction
When you have conviction,
You will have courage
When you have courage,
You will have truthfulness
When you have truthfulness,
You move closer to god
When you are closer to god,
How does it matter?
Whether your dreams are fulfilled or not because
You are more concerned about fulfilling others dream

Salary Hike for Members of Parliament

Recently Indian Government has hiked the salary for our Members of parliament. The salary hike is quite significant. It is Good or bad , well we all should be generous enough to wish all the best for others welfare. My concern is anywhere in the world wages are connected to the performance. Any individual gets his or her wages based on there performance. My question is who will justify whether the wages of our honorary Parliamentarians is in line of there performance.

How does public knows what kind of performance our law makers are giving. Is there any white paper on this issue. The situation in our country is pathetic. billions of rupees are spent on our law makers but there is no system of public audit whether the money spent is worth it. Any Indian working in private enterprises gets his wage increment based on the output he or she produced in the financial year. Then why the system should not be followed for our dear members of parliament.

first of all there has to be a performance review parameters for all the law makers. In any particular constituencies there has to be measuring parameters which should define the growth in public work in a particular financial year. There are whole lot of public works. Public Health , public security, power generation , Roads, water supply , public distribution system these are some areas on which growth can be measured.

Government has to devise a system of evaluating the performance of all the government employees including law makers. If they go on increasing the wages without any measuring tool to evaluate the performance then there will be utter despair in the minds of every citizen of this country. Already most of the citizens feel that the ministers are elite class & they are enjoying luxuries of life without executing there task in competent manner. This kind of situation gradually becomes the origin for revolt which ultimately destroys the utter foundation of democracy.

Role of the Manager in the organization

Role of Manager in the Organization

Most of the time the Managers in the organization are a confused lot about what there role is. They are more concerned about the micro part of there responsibilities & hence could not concentrate more on the macro aspect of the management responsibility which they have to execute.
Broadly we can divide the role of a manager into two parts.
One is objective & the other one is subjective.
The objective part is basically to run the business in efficient manner. Manager has to ensure that the objective goals of the organizations are achieved. The day to day business is run smoothly & to remove any obstacle which come on the way. This is what comprises the objective role of a manager & most of the time we find mangers are bogged down with this part only. The most important role of a manager is to identify, nurture & groom employees who would ultimately becomes future business leaders of the organization. Most of the managers forget this role & concentrate on running day to day business & are more concerned with increasing profitability for the organization.
There is nothing wrong with the profitability factor but if an organization has to run successfully for maximum numbers of years, it has to churn out leaders all across the organization constantly. In the name of developing leaders most of the managers will take into there shelter few numbers of employee who understand better than other employees what there boss wants. Bosses will provide all the necessary support & back up to these employees so they look good. Once the platform has been created for these employees then eventually they will be promoted . Its human tendency to like the people who talks good about you & who praises you but if a manager wants to be a successful for longer duration, he has to understand "the success of an organization depends on the shoulders of employees who has diverse skills & competencies ". One type of people will not be able to get you success for a long time. they have to develop leaders all across the organization. There is another danger" if you are surrounded by the people who only appreciate your work & never criticizes you then gradually they will be turning you to have a false feeling of supremacy. Ultimately you will be trapped into " I am great syndrome" which will slowly reduce your willingness to learn new things & with the passage of time you will fade into oblivion.
If we want not to happen this we must pay more attention to the macro part of our role as a manager & that’s all about identify, groom, and motivate employees from all spectrum of the organization into a future business leader. This can be achieved successfully by keeping aside your personal likings or disliking & judging the employee on his capacity to execute the job efficiently, his keenness & ability to learn new competencies, ability to perform in a team , his assimilation & understanding of organization culture.
It’s a chain reaction; managers develop people into becoming leader who are directly working under them. They in turn develop people into leaders who are working under them & the process goes down to the lowest level of employee of the organization. How it is being ensured that the process is working?
There are two methods by which organization can find out whether the leadership program is being successfully implemented. One the organization should conduct employee survey periodically from outsize agencies & second to have close tab on employees appraisal card. Both these tools will be immensely helpful to the managers to understand in which direction there organization will be heading. In the last it is his will power & sincerity will decide whether he wants to be a manager only, or for a long period to come he wants to be remembered by his peers as a true leader.

Preach What You Practice

Recognize The Talent

For the success of any Nation, Society or organization , we find talented persons responsible for the success. They work relentlessly to achieve the ultimate goal set by them. If Thomas Elva Edison has not worked tenaciously in the search of electric bulb then our world would have been denied of light. Now days we watched hundred of channels on TV. This was made possible due to continuous hard work by our talented Space scientist who made the satellites.

But do we always recognize talent. No had we then our country would have been the most prosperous country in the world. There is no dearth of talent in our country. The problem is we recognize talent on our preference basis. If the talented person is liked by us then we will recognize otherwise we simply ignore it. A talent wasted is an enormous loss to us & our nation. Some times our ego, caste, community comes in as hindrance in recognizing the talent.

The great example of ignorance & humiliation of talent is the movie Called EK DOCTOR KI MAUT by renowned Director Tapan Sinha. The story of the movie is How a talented Doctor ( played superbly by Pankaj Kapoor) was constantly harassed by the vested interested in the hospital & government. He was not allowed to do the research which he wanted to do in his field. Even his close friend take sides of the evil party & not help him. In the last doctor took the assignment offered by a European country & left India to work abroad with an heavy heart. Whose loss was this. It was a national loss. we have so many cases in real life where the talent is humiliated & discarded because one we feel inferior to them, because caste feeling takes place, Because we does not like the system to be changed. We do all this & then we crib that our country is not progressing. We blame to government that it's not doing anything.

Please think, denial of talent is denial of prosperity. Leave your personal agenda behind, wherever you find Talent, encourage it, recognize it. This way you will be helpful in promoting talent & helping yourself.

My thoughts

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 150px; height: 200px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_HfR-wV2S2KM/SgcEiVJDbTI/AAAAAAAAAGQ/HPLnUFxnjoA/s200/25012009271.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5334237271480823090" />
Does daily life present opportunities for courage and integrity?

“Why not, Courage does not mean fighting the war on the battlefront. There are so many instances in daily life which provides moment of opportunities for courage & dignity. For example in case i am attending an public forum with one my best friend. There is strong debate on a particular subject & my friend participated in the debate. In case i find his side of explanation weaker then to a stranger to whom i do not know. It is a matter of courage if i make a honest statement that my friend is wrong in his deliberation. Another example in most of the organizations so many times it happens that one finds his boss making irrelevant& unjustified statement on the basis of some preconceived notion. How many of us has courage to face the boss & say , he is wrong. If one does it , it's a matter of courage. Speaking truth is the biggest example of showing courage. So many times we just do not have the courage to speak the plain & simple truth. If one wants it , then there are ample opportunities of putting an example of courage & Integrity. Mind it Integrity is not one time thing, if one Has the integrity , he or she will have it for whole life.

What to do when chips are down.

It happens more often to all of us that even after putting so much of hard work we do not get the success which we deserve. Close to our heart we know that we did everything which was necessary for getting success in our working career but still that moment of glory eludes us. How we react to this type of situation, getting angry on little things, indulge in useless arguments, become abrasive in our approach, openly vocal & critical about the person or persons whom we found responsible for putting hindrance in our success. These are some of the very common reaction any normal person indulge in when he find after putting all the efforts , the so called success instead of falling in his lap falls into the lap of person occupying next table in your office & to whom you thought never worthy enough to embrace success. What to do, you just can ask for a boxing bout with the undesired recipient of success. You go on cursing the management, cursing the bloody system, cursing every creature who you think were even remotely responsible for your constant static stature. You start doubting about your capabilities, your self esteem getting lower day by day & instead of getting strength for fighting again you start loosing strength. By doing this you give ample opportunity to your adversaries in a platter to finger about your capabilities & which looks very obvious & visible to everybody, you further go down on the assessment ladder.
Things don’t look very rosy for you because at home too, your spouse makes hell of the effort to bring upon the normalcy but your mind is still in the office. Dear friend first of all we must understand the world always never work according to our plan. Some times things work in our favor, some time not. It’s not necessary that always the most competent person will get the name & fame, if this would have been true Lord Krishna would not have bothered to write shri Bhagvat Gita , The almighty knew that there will be unsuccessful but competent persons in kalyuga That they will need this holy book more than anything else to re enlighten them about there self respect & capability. How many of us have heard the name of Nicola Tesla, a very famous American Scientist of Serbian origin , he did no less experiments than Thomas Elva Edison but Edison is known by everybody but tesla is known to few electrical engineers who know him for his invention of electrical motor & tesla effect. The very first thing we should do when the chips are down to keep calm & compose. Talk to yourself for at least half an hour daily. Repeat time & time again to you silently that you are efficient, capable for achieving success. Believe me nobody can tarnish your self respect except you only. Analyze the situation on non emotional base, think again & again if you have made any mistake, if you find one try to rectify it. After giving careful thought still you feel that you have put every efforts which you were supposed to, just lie low, keep low profile for a while, wait for your turn, the wind will change the direction. What about the heartburn after all we are human beings, there will be pain & sorrows, never share it in office place, share it with child hood friend, college friend incase you still are in contact with them, They are the best buddy to share the pain. If you have spouse, talk to him or her, they are your pillar of strength. Never ever doubt your capabilities.

We all know about The great Indian king Prithvi raj chouhan, he defeated Muhammad Ghori thirteen times, forget for a second about Prithvi Raj, just think about ghori Getting defeated so many times what a humiliation, but what happen ultimately he was the winner. Think of the mental frame of a person, getting defeated so many times, think of the will power , logistics problem , motivational problem , getting motivate the army to fight for after getting umpteen number of times, your fate can not be worse than Mohammed Ghori, if he won it , you will win too.

Saumitra Yadav

Is India truly a Democratic Country ?

We the Indians are very proud of the fact that we are a democratic country. But when democracy is not understood in its right perspective what happens? In our country democracy means any body anywhere can stop the essential life line services just in the name of protest. Any body anywhere can destroy the government & private properties in the name of protest. Any motley groups of people in the name of certain ideology can kill innocent people. Any local goon with the help of muscle power & some assistance from local government can win the election & legitimize his illegal business. Are we a democratic country or are we not moving slowly to anarchy? The recent past violent protest by one community just to have secure more easy livelihood which in other terms known as Reservation brought one large portion of the nation to standstill. Properties worth billions were destroyed & no government machinery was in picture to stop it. Who will compensate the losses? Tomorrow some body else will rise & repeat the action. There is an parallel government in chattisgarh , Jharkhand, Bihar & some parts of Madhya Pradesh by Naxalites & government is simply sleeping over it. What can they do, Left parties are there allies. Some of the states & regional leader very proudly states, that only person belonging to that particular state will get a job there. What this statement means, are we trying to say that this particular state is not part of India?

The whole problem lies in the politics of convenience & absolute lack of statesmanship. Politician today are very short sighted & mean minded. I think we should move from multi party system to presidential system of government. The whole nation should elect a president who in turn will select his ministers from various field of society on there merit. This will stop the corruption prevailing due to horse trading in case of minority government. People should be able to elect there leader directly, not the party. The party system should be abolished. The president should divide India into four Zones for the purpose of Administration. North, South, East & west should be respective four zones. The president should have two internal security agencies which operates on pan India basis. One deals with the petty crimes like theft, robbery, rape & murder. The second agency deals with the bigger crimes like Terrorism, drug pedaling, cross border terrorism & internal security. With the elimination of multi party system we will be saving thousand of security personals, who are wasting there time in protecting these good for nothing politicians. The security agencies will be working in three shifts basis so they are not tired & overworked. The recruitment for securities agencies should be done on the basis of all India written test, followed by personal interviews & the final selection should be done on individual’s candidate back ground check. There should be school for policing which should conduct classes on law, personal management, psychology, personal combat & weapon training. There should be single pan national agency for controlling any department. Be it Police, Army, Transport, Railways, Aviation, Sports, Science & Technology. There should not be two agencies working on one area at loggerheads.

I am not in favor of controlling the freedom of mankind but there has to be some check & balances on the part of brilliant Indian scholar who at the cost Indian money gets the best education here but immediately start giving there brilliant ideas to other nations. If every Indian will start thinking like them, than who will take care of our country. Most of the people from this category complain that our country can not provide the ideal conditions for such brilliant minds to work. They actually are fooling themselves, who will change the conditions in our country, do some aliens from other planet will come & change it. It is we only who has to change it. If our forefathers would had thought in the same manner than we would have been still living as slave. But they are not hundred percent wrong, brilliant mind needs good logistic & moral support to create there brilliance in there respective areas. We have to create that atmosphere.

The biggest enemy of our nation is casteism. One day this will disintegrate our great nation. Reservation of any kind is a cancerous disease. There are two type of reservation, one which is propagated by the government in a legal way, which is transparent, the other one which is propagated by strong & powerful communities belonging to different strong castes. This is hidden reservation; this is more dangerous than the other one. In this case if some member of the particular community reaches on powerful positions in the government, they will slowly & methodically select people from there communities with there influence & put them in important positions. There will be a time when the respective department will run solely on the dictate of this particular community. The pattern remains same over the year’s only community’s change. Both the type of reservation should be eradicated from our society in complete manner but before that the nation should have a proper impartial social safety net for the people from poor & weaker section irrespective of there caste & creed.

Recent terrorist attack at Bombay has awakened the whole India like anything. See what poorly paid & the least motivated Indian citizen did for the nation for example The Police, the security forces & the elite commandos. Last but not the least the Bombay fireman showed exemplary courage by doing there job without having bullet proof jackets. They are not combat unit but they were performing there duty actually in the line of fire. How could we pay our debt to them? The government just does not like to increase there pay who actually saves the nation. What type of people we choose to govern us who give a damn about our security. I think the time has come for us to make a referendum to change the current political system. We must abolish state assemblies & state government. We should elect our national head directly. He in turn can select his Team. Why should we have MP’s & MLA’s when we have executive body to execute the job? Why should we spend crores of rupees to these incompetent nincompoops who are good for nothing?

We have to seriously think about it & act upon it. This party system has brought whole lot of corruption to our system. It is we who has to abolish the system.

I think the time has come that we also should do the soul searching. These politicians are coming from the same society to which we belong to. If we are given power we will also behave like them. Don’t we try to show off when we have any member of our family serving for police or government? Don’t we try to take advantage of the situation? I think we all have to change. Once we are changed then only we will have courage to change others. We must have courage to support those who are honest & upright. Just tell me how many honest & upright governments official gets support from us. I mean active support.

First we must not allow anybody to divide us on the line of cast, community & religion. The British did that to rule us & now the politicians are doing it to rule us. We must fight in unison & defeat them in there game.

Saumitra Yadav

disclaimer this is the personal view of saumitra yadav.

LEADERSHIP

LEADERSHIP

Leader or leadership is such a fabulous topic that umpteen numbers of articles has been written so far but it still stimulates & attracts so many of us to know the exact definition of the term leader. They always dream about a future for there followers.

Leaders are visionaries

Leaders always have a vision what exactly they want for there ward or there followers. They have the exact vision of there dreams about there community, organization or nation.

Leaders are truthful

Leaders are truthful about there thoughts, there beliefs, there vision, there approach & about themselves. God has given an unusual strength to each individual to differentiate between real & fake person. Any living person irrespective of his gender, cast, creed, status, knowledge & intelligence has this uncanny ability to distinguish a fake from a real person. They will follow the leader who is truthful to himself & to his people.

This is one of the most important qualities of a successful leader.

Leaders have strong conviction

Leaders have very strong conviction about the change or betterment which they want to bring for there followers. Whatever difficulties may come, this conviction is never shaken. This one quality in a leader propels him in forward direction against all odds & difficult times. This is one quality which gives him enormous strength to fight the social evils or any discrimination prevailing in the society.

Leaders are great communicators

All leaders are great communicators. In general we are confused by the term communication. By meaning communication we understand it as oration. Communication is not only oratory. The exact meaning of communication is passing on the message, information or feelings to other person successfully in any mode. Mahatma Gandhi was not as good orator as Nehru or for that matter Subhash Chandra Bose but he could communicate to each every Indian more than these two gentlemen at any given time. A leader communicates to his follower in so many modes, physical, psychological, verbal or in complete silence.

Leaders have strong sense of justice

A true leader has very strong sense of justice. In most of the cases this strong will power to oppose the injustice brings the leadership in a person. History tells us that in most of the cases the transformation from an ordinary person to a great leader takes place due to this one factor Strong sense of justice. The great revolutionary Chandra shekhar Ajad which was not his original name was caught by British police when he was ten years old. His crime, taking part in a swadeshi rally & praising the motherland. The inspector gives the punishment of ten lashes to child ajad. On every lash he will shout bharat mata ki jai, Mahatma Gandhi ki jai & we are independent. This is how he acquires the name Ajad. He never forget this injustice done to him & in later years become one of the fiercest enemy of British Empire. Gandhi ji could never forget the insult & the humiliation done to him on a train journey in South Africa when he was thrown out form first class compartment even when he was holding first class ticket. This one moment changes his life & the future of India.

Leaders have empathy

The great leaders have empathy as one of the strongest quality. They feel the sorrows & pain of there people as there own. They always put themselves on the same footing as there followers. As per the old story in Persia (Iran) , the great king Nowsherwan order the demolition of his fort wall when a poor lady comes & complains to him that his ministers has demolished her hutment as it was becoming a obstacle on the way of fort wall. The great king without wasting a single second orders the restoration of the hutment on exactly the same place of its origin. Mahatma Gandhi never wore full clothes as he felt when half of the population of India doesn’t have adequate clothes to wear how can he as a leader wear full clothes.

Dear friends these are some the important factors which are responsible for the making of a great leader.

contributed by

Saumitra Yadav

star performer in the organizations

Star Performer

How many of us know that the great Albert Einstein was initially known as very poor student in his school days. Whenever his teacher used to ask the question to Albert, he used to take so much time to reply that before even he could reply the answer his teacher, he was asked to sit down. According to the teachers especially his math one, he was very poor performer. When the annual exams were held & he scored the maximum marks everybody was surprised. The teacher asked the school management for a re examination only for Albert as they feared he must have copied. Re examination took place in front of all teacher & the result was the same. The perplexed math teacher asked Albert why you were not able to give answers to my question in the class to which Albert reply – Sir, I wanted to be sure from all the angles that the answer which I am giving is correct & it took little longer time to respond than others & you thought I don’t know the answer.

In nowadays context of corporate I have heard about the research that organizations have divided the employees in three categories Star, Average & the Poor ones. According to popular belief the star performer which is twenty percent of the total employee runs the organization. What would have happen to Albert Einstein in today’s scenario if he is to serve in any organization. If the theory is true than it means the companies are bearing the cost of roughly sixty to seventy percent of non performing employees year by year. I think the whole concept is theory of convenience. A person in general likes to be in the company of similar personality. We find employees who are little vocal about there accomplishment & good salesman gets faster the affinity with the management. They are very quick to realize what are the liking & disliking of the management & start working upon it & very soon gets all the opportunity & backing of the management. There are other types of employees who are not that great salesman & feel shy to speak about there expertise & achievements having the belief hard work will be recognized by itself. Being not very loud about there achievement they just go on working. Sometimes these types of people are so good in executing the job efficiently & silently that it gives an impression that they are just doing the routines. Once I was told by my senior you have to market yourself, I asked in the return is it not the responsibility of buyer to bye the best to which he had no reply. When the company recruit people , the criteria of recruitment is same that means they are recruiting people of almost same caliber then how come after some time few of them becomes star, average & poor. It proves there was something wrong in the management side which could make star out of the same caliber people. I had a very interesting example to share. In one of the organization which I know they choose some people on the liking of senior management & give them exclusive projects which has nothing to do with there routine job. They were ask to complete the project & in the mean time there routine job is being done by others in the departments. In the monthly meetings in front of senior managements they are applauded & termed as a Star performer. Those who were executing there routine job in addition to there own job were termed as average performer as they were doing only routines. After some time people from second category started leaving the organization in large numbers & created a huge void of workforce. The management had no alternative but to put the star performer to execute the routine but they also started to leave the organization as they were now not in a habit of doing routine , the hard bread & butter job. According to me there are no star, average & poor performer. Each & every employee contributes to the success of the organizations; Just a handful of an employee can never bring the permanent success to the organization. It is only our perspective how we look into this barring a very few percentage most of the employee wants to work, be recognized & rewarded for the work which he is executing. We only have to ensure, has the management given equal opportunity to all employee to excel.
contributed by Saumitra yadav
